Elephants, tigers, lions, roosters, pigs and obviously horses of all types and colour: they all turn to the rhythm of the music of the Fioranna carousel. This musical box features so many animals. Since they are arranged on two levels with many little mirrors, they look as if there were actually many more. It is children's favourite carousel: it reminds the more imaginative ones of Noah's ark. Each animal is made by hand: the figures are all carved out of linden wood using mini-mills mounted on a drill, while the structure is made of beechwood and poplar, while the curved parts are made of heated birch. The tunes of this musical box made in 1999 are played by 30-note discs manufactured by the Swiss company Reuge.
